I have given my typeface Mitis a bit of a facelift! I felt that the it did not have enough character or consistency to be a display/decorative typeface so I worked into the shapes more, refining everything (click here to see the original).
As Mitis is intended to be a display/decorative typeface I wanted to create a wide range of alternate characters for the uppercase letters to add an extra layer to the typeface. The alternate characters are made from expanding the basic shapes used to created each letter.
Still a lot more to do on this typeface such as adding in lowercase lettering, punctuation, numbers along with all of the alternate characters associated with each glyph.
Thoughts?
